Clinical Study on Treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis with Jiawei Banxia Xiexin Decoction

Abstract

Objective:To observe the function of treating chronic atrophic gastritis with Jiawei banxia xiexin decoction.Method:Seventy three cases of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)diagnosed by gastroscope and pathology were classified into two groups at random:43 cases in the treatment group were given Jiawei banxia xiexin decoction,once daily for twice;30 cases in the control group were given eremotheeium siccum tablets three times daily and 1.0g/each time.Special caud of statisties had been made before and after the treatment and re examination of gastroscope and pathology as well as HP infection had been made within one week after two month treatment.Result:The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the symptoms,inflammation,hetorotype hyperplasia and HP infection(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei banxia xiexin decoction had significant function in treating chronic atrophic gastritis.
