After the Renaissance,humanism gradually took root in the western society.Humanism not only liberated the western people and society from the religious and theological shackles of the Middle Ages,but also aroused the westerners' fervor of exploring nature again and removed the various thought obstacles on the way of scientific research,thus giving a forceful boost to the birth of western science.
