Association Between Sreum Uric Acid Concentration and Blood Pressure,Triglycerides in Old People with MS

Objective: To investigate the relationship between SUA and SBP,DBP,TG,HDL-C in aged with MS.Methods: One hundred and sixty-three cases of old people were investigated.All cases were divided into two groups: Non-MS(no MS component) and MS(3 or more than 3 of MS components).The data of SUA,SBP,DBP,TG,BMI,WC were analyzed.Results: SUA was higher in MS subjects than that in non-MS subjects.SUA with BMI had a position correlation in MS men,with WC in MS women,with DBP in non-MS female.No correlation was observed between SUA and SBP,TG in aged with MS and non-MS.Conclusion: We speculate that SUA may be beneficial to maintain level of DBP in old female.The influence of TG on SUA may be finity in old people.The relationship of SUA and BMI,WC in old men differes from that of old women.
