Abstract
In recent years, the emergence of a more socially - politically - oriented approach has been expanding the scope of the field of writing, challenging the dominant approach. Based on a brief review of the development of writing pedagogy, this paper arrives at the following conclusion: The notion of post - process approach, which originated from Trimbur, is conducive to the betterment of practitioners' personal style of teaching, but less likely, at least for the time being, to replace or reject the present Theory and bring about a paradigm shift.
