The Implication of Humanistic Theory towards Teaching Writing

Abstract

Humanism advocates a philosophy of teaching in which students are treated with respect and their desire for self-actualization are satisfied.This theory has an influential implication towards writing teaching.This paper makes a contrast between product approach and process approach and comes to the conclusion that process approach is a successful application of humanism teaching theory to English writing teaching.And it also gives a detailed description of how to apply process approach to English writing class.
