Abstract
Doris Lessing creates three different characters(Tom,Stanley and Harry) in his short story A Woman on a Roof.This paper attempts to analyze the actions and psycho of these three characters by using Freudian theory.From the microcosmic perspective,the novel elaborates the Freudian theory.
