Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of acetic acid lead on the growth of immature murine haematopoietic progenitor cells in vitro.Methods:Different concentration of acetic acid lead was used in the culture of burst-forming unit-erythroid(BFU-E)and macrophage-granulocyte colony-forming unit(CFU-GM),then the number of BFU-E and CFU-GM was observed..Results:The number of BFU-E and CFU-GM was significantly decreased with the increase of Pb concentrations(P0.05).There was a negetive correlation between the Pb dose and the number of BFU-E and CFU-GM(rs=-0.969,P=0.000 and rs=-0.983,P=0.000,respectively).Conclusion:The data suggests the number of CFU-GM and BFU-E is significantly decreased when poisoned by acetic acid lead in vitro.
