Confucian ideas on the issue of “Heaven and Man” state that Heaven and Man should be in harmony.In terms of ontology,this view shows itself in the two opinions of “Li” and “Wu”.The two different opinions have their respective influences on the establishment of ideal personality.The scholars who hold “Li” to be true often stress “Sagacity Within” while those who hold “Wu”to be true emphasize “Kingliness Without”.
