Abstract

Objective: To develop a modified method for detecting blood lead by GFAAS with an improved matrix modifier. Methods: Transversely heated GFAAS with Zeeman background was used in this determination.By changing the composition of matrix modifier, improving the determination condition of temperature programming,to realize the direct injection of diluted blood samples. Results: The blood lead content was linear in the range of 0 μg/L~800 μg/L with the curve′s regression equation of A=0.0003C+0.0075,and the correlation coefficient of 0.998. The detection limit was 6 μg/L,recovery rate was 96.5%~98.0%,and relative standard deviation(RSD) were 0.56%~6.5%.Conclusion: With the mixed matrix modifier of 1% HNO3+0.5% TritonX-100+0.33 g/L PdCl2+ 100 mg/L Mg(NO3)2,the modified method is simple, convenient, accurate and reproducible.
