An Empirical Study on Evaluation Model of University Intellectual Capital

In the knowledge-based economy, intellectual capital has become the most important sources of competitiveness and the third resources . In this study, the author develops a model to evaluate the university intellec tual capital, and the index system is developed based on literatures. Through an empirical study, the author proves that the established index system and evalua ting model are effective and reliable. Furthermore, it is found that there is a significant relationship between the scores of the three intellectual capital el ements of a university. Finally a reporting model is developed for universities to report their intellectual capital.
