Working Model of Outpatient Prescription Comment

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To explore a working model of prescription comment tailored to the condition of our hospital.METHODS: A systematic prescription comment system was set up by establishing a specialized prescription comment team and perfecting the relevant working system and standardizing the procedure of prescription comment.RESULTS: The established prescription comment model gained constant improvement in practice.The computer-assisted prescription evaluation system designed and developed by our hospital plus intervention measures has greatly standardized physicians' prescription writing,effectively improved prescription quality and promoted rational drug use.CONCLUSION: This working mode used for initiative intervention on irrational drug use is a feasible and effective prescription comment mode currently available in our hospital.
