Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect of astragalus injection on mannitol-induced acute kidney injury and recovery of renal function in patients. Methods 70 cases of patients with acute kidney injury were selected from February 2011 to April 2014 in Nanyang city central hospital, and randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table,35 cases in each group. The observation group were treated with conventional adjuvant therapy combined with astragalus injection. The control group were treated with a simple routine treatment. Serum creatinine( SCr),β2-microglobulin( β2-MG),blood uria nitrogen( BUN) changes and its efficacy were compared between two groups. Results There were no statistically significant difference of clinical data between control group and observation group; after treatment,SCr in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 001); β2-MG in observation group significantly lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 001); BUN in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 001); the total efficiency in observation group was 88. 57%, which was higher than that was 54. 29% in control group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 01).Conclusion Astragalus injection has a good curative effect in the treatment of mannitol-induced acute kidney injury in patients, and promotes the recovery of renal function.
