Discussion on humanism in college physical teaching

With social progress and development,physical teaching in coleges and universities will be embarked on from humanism angle,the teaching idea of 1950s and 1960s will be changed,which paid much attention to physical exercises,and emphasized on the physique training unilaterally.We should carry out the physical teaching ideas,including humanistic care,quality education promotion and psychological personality development.The article discusses the theoretic connotation of humanism,the current situation of physical teaching,and the role and the effective methods of humanism in physical teaching.
