College English teaching and humanism quality education in universities of science and technology

Humanism quality education is the necessary,fundamental and crucial component to carry out comprehensive quality education.At present,undergraduates in internal universities of science and technology show the problems as basic knowledge on humanism sciences is relative weak,lacks of humanism quality.As a language,English has obvious humanism feature.Making humanism quality education during college English teaching has exceptionally good advantages.Therefore,teacher should advance own humanism quality so as to insure the success of humanism quality education;stress the culture education of China and the West so as to enhance undergraduate cross-cultural communication competence;combining textbook content make humanism quality education penetrate into the whole teaching process;reform teaching mode so as to promote the comprehensive implementation of humanism quality education.
