Clinical research of treatment of omeprazole with domperidone for patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux

Objective To study the efficacy of treatment of omeprazole with domperidone for patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux. Methods Control group were treated with oral omeprazole, observation group were treated with omeprazole and domperidone. Clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed. Results Clinical efficacy in the observation group was higher (χ2 = 11.188, P = 0.001), remission time about dysphonia and foreign body sensation was shorter (t = 5.742 and 6.187, P 0.05), efficiency about fibrolaryngoscopic examination (83.3%) was higher, there was significant difference (χ2 = 8.704, P = 0.003), had no increased risk of complications. Conclusion Treatment of omeprazole with domperidone for LPR is effective and worthy of clinical application.
