Teaching Evaluation in Higher Education Institutions:A Game between Academic Personnel and Administrative Personnel

For a long time,the administrative personnel possess the power to evaluate teaching in higher education institutions as they control the process,standard and method of teaching evaluation,and the approval and application of the evaluation results,which brings about the conflicts between academic and administrative personnel in higher education institutions.In order to resolve the conflicts and solve this problem,this paper proposes that we should construct professional teaching evaluation community,establish communicating and consulting mechanism,and adopt various kinds of teaching evaluation methods.Only in this way,the cooperation between academic and administrative personnel could be strengthened,the conflict could be resolved,and the ultimate goal of teaching evaluation could be achieved.
