A discussion on the utilization of IP over ATM in power communication network based on MPLS

Abstract

MPLS is a new solution of IP over ATM. According to the requirement of power system critical signals on the transmission performance, this paper analyzes the procedure of transmitting critical signals in power communication network by MPLS. The strategy of using MPLS in power system is also be set forth.
