THE INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS OF HAND HYGIENE COMPLIANCE OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL

Objective To understand hand hygiene knowledge and compliance of clinical medical personnel and to analyze factors that influence hand hygiene so as to intensify hand hygiene supervision.Methods A random sample investigation method was carried out to investigate and analyze clinical front-line medical personnel in this hospital.Results Among medical personnel of this hospital,the understand rate of handwashing indicators was above 80%;the understand rates of hand disinfection indicators during different diagnose and nursing procedures were uneven and the understand rates of hand disinfection in the intensive care unit and some treatment and nursing procedures were low.The main factors that influence the implementation of handwashing and disinfection measures of medical staff were facility imperfection,afraid of skin harm,busy work and ignorance of the disinfection effect.Conclusion The performance rate of hand hygiene operation of medical personnel in this hospital is low.The hand hygiene knowledge is publicity absent and hand health facilities don't match set.So measures should be taken directly.
