Abstract

From the stories about the behavior and speech of the Intellectuals' in the Wei and Jin Dynasties in Shi shuo xin yu and the related data,we can find that all of the ideals.Lao-Zi and Zhuang-Zi's“objects and subjects are both none”,Guoxiang“it is being by itself and it is abstract”and the Buddhist'“don't be obdurate in either of the both sides”have important influence to the Intellectuals' ways of thinking and manners of behavior from Zhengshi Reign to the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
