Abstract
Objective:To compare short-term effect of bronchial arterial chemoembolization (BACE) and bronchial arterial infusion (BAI) with bronchogenic carcinoma.[WT5”HZ]Methods:173 cases with bronchogenic carcinoma were divided into 2 groups. 154 cases were treated with BAI (group A), and 19 cases were treated with BACE(group B).Results:Entire response rate reached 53.25% in group A and reached 78.95% in group B, showing significant difference (P0.05). When compared with the survival rate after one year (A:57.14%, B: 73.68%), that of group B was superior to group A.Conclusion:Compare to BAI, BACE showed higher entire response rate and 1-year survival rate. The short-term effect of BACE was superior to BAI for patients with bronchogenic carcinoma.
