Abstract
The rising of the central region of China cries for strategic support. This paper, on the basis of affirming the state of metropolitan area of Wuhan and its surrounding cities, analyzes Wuhan metropolitan area systematically from the angles of size, functional structure and special structure, and brings forward the construction optimization ideas.
