Spatial Analysis and Restructure on the Industrial Economy in Wuhan Metropolitan Area

The article analyses the industrial structure and the stage of economic development of Wuhan metropolitan area by using the method of location quotient and deviation-share analysis,the result shows that Wuhan-Ezhou-Huangshi-Xiaogan cities group develops fast,especially in Wuhan,and its industrial structure is better than other five cities in Wuhan metropolitan area,from the angle of industrial structure,the primary industry still takes an important strategic position,the second industry has a distinct advantage and need further development,the tertiary industry develops constantly.Therefore,in order to enhance the overall competitiveness,Wuhan metropolitan area should exert each city's comparative advantages,optimizing the allocation of resources,strengthen the association effect between leading industries,and expanding the influence to surrounding areas,forming the new industry structure which includes Wuhan metropolitan area and surrounding areas.
