Abstract

Objective:To observe effect of Xinmailong injection on chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods: A total of 46 CHF patients were randomly divided into routine treatment group(n=21,received routine treatment of anti-heart failure) and Xinmailong group(n=25,received Xinmailong injection based on routine treatment of anti-heart failure).Treatment period was two weeks. All patients underwent 6min walking test and echocardiography before and 1~2 weeks after treatment. Results:After treatment two weeks, total effective rate of Xinmailong group was significantly higher than that of routine treatment group(92.0% vs.61.9%);there were significant improvement in 6min walking distance(6MWD) and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) in both groups(P0.05 or 0.01).Compared with routine treatment group, there were significant increase in 6MWD [(416.00±39.25) m vs.(475.00±42.11) m]and LVEF [(41.23±6.75)% vs.(48.35±7.5)%]in Xinmailong group,P0.05 both. Conclusion: Xinmailong injection is an effective auxiliary drug for treatment of chronic heart failure in aged patients.
