Abstract
AIM To investigate the compound chloramphenicol vaginal suppository stability.METHODS The concentration of chloramphenicol, metronidazole and borneolum in the compound chloramphenicol vaginal suppository was determined by HPLC and gas chromatography internal standard method. The stability of the suppository was explored by classic constant-temperature method.RESULTS The compound chloramphenicol vaginal suppository accorded with the level of degradation of reaction dynamics. It was valid for a period of 1.7 years at room temperature.CONCLUSION The method is accurate and reliable, and can be used to study the stability of this preparation.
