Abstract
OBJECTIVE Method for preparation and quality control of fluconazole vaginal suppository was studied and its clinical efficacy was observed. METHOD The fluconazole content in the vaginal suppository was determined by first order derivative spectrophotometer and its efficacy was observed in 60 patients with monilial vaginitis.RESULTS In determination of fluconazole, all the interference of suppository excipient can be eliminated by the method. The mean recovery of fluconazole was 101.07%, RSD was 0.25%(n=5), A total effective rate of 100% was obstained in the clinical trial.CONCLUSION The fluconazole vaginal supporitory can be prepared by a simple process and its content can be conveniently determined with accurate results. It is worthwhile to popularze and apply.
