Abstract

The substance of opium enjoyed unusual status in the history of the Late Qing Dynasty.It is not exaggerated to say that it put great influence on the history progress of China.So many events were related with it in the history of the Late Qing Dynasty.The developing progress of modern China has been illustrated by the opium.By the thorough study about opium trading and China's market opening,we can gradually clarify the origin of the Late Qing Dynasty's history.
