The reform and the establishment of public PE curriculum system in colleges

It is pointed that the traditional physical teaching models could not meet the demand of new society in 21 century according to the physical education mission in the long run.This paper tried to find out a new physical teaching model for the present college and university students in order to meet the needs as well as fit the future society.In that case,the paper gave several suggestions as follow:changing the basic value of physical education,training more excellent talented physical teachers and researchers,making the physical activity more systematic,putting more financial aid for the physical education,establishing the unity of common physical teaching and individual physical teaching as well as sports club for colleges and universities in the new century.
