Views on the Teaching Objectives of Physical Education in Colleges and Universities

The teaching objectives of physical education in colleges and universities are important basis of fulfilling the purposes and tasks of physical education in colleges and universities.They should accord with the demands of social development of modem world and the demands of students' individual development.Besides, they should be in agreement with the objective principles of contemporary physical education.This paper discusses the following aspects:the theoretical basis for working out the teaching objectives,the fixed position of teaching objectives during the period when the new replaces the old,the development and perfection of current teaching objectives,and some thoughts about the reform of current teaching objectives.This paper can be a reference for educators in the field of physical education.
