Abstract
In order to investigate the change of indoor formaldehyde concentration in different decorative time and the effect on residential health, the concentration of formaldehyde in indoor air has been monitored within one year and more than one year after decoration respectively. The question of residents' health is also carried out. The average concentrations of indoor formaldehyde are 0.301 4 mg/m~3 and 0.115 0 mg/m~3 respectively in less than one year and more than one year after decoration. The ranges of the concentration are 00.934 7 mg/m~3 and (0.017 2)1.754 2 mg/m~3 respectively. There is obvious difference between the two groups. The concentration of formaldehyde of bedroom is the highest. The average value is 0.694 5 mg/m~3, and pollutant index is 8.68.
