Comprehensive Empirical Analysis on Industrial Structure Changes and Benefit of Jiaozuo

Using the rate of industrial structure change,coefficient of industrial structure variation,comparative labor productivity and its difference index as well as dynamic deviation-share analysis model,the author empirically analyzes industrial structure changes and benefit of Jiaozuo city from 2003 to 2012,the results show:(1) The overall industrial structure of Jiaozuo City changes fast and is higher than the provincial level;however,the interior of industrial structure is imbalanced,and the growth of secondary industry is relatively fast,while the growth of primary industry and tertiary industry are relatively slow.(2)The labor productivity rate of secondary industry is higher than the average level of industry and the province with obvious advantages.The labor productivity rate of primary industry and tertiary industry is lower than the average level of industry and lead to the entire industry benefit transforms from the level higher than the province to the level lower than the province.(3) Overall,three industries of Jiaozuo city are growing and are higher than the provincial average level.However,from the interior of the industry,the advantages of industrial structure and competitiveness in Jiaozuo city come mainly from the secondary industry,and its advantages are obvious,which offsets the disadvantages of industrial structure and competitiveness of primary industry and tertiary industry.
