Status and optimization of the industrial structure in Shaanxi province

The characteristics of the industrial structure of Shaanxi are analyzed.The research shows that its primary industry is growing slowly in total value with its proportion declining while the secondary industry enjoys a faster growth both in its total value and proportion,and the tertiary industry is growing rapidly.Although the industrial structure is developing with a reasonable tendency,problems can be found: the lagging behind of the secondary industry, low competitiveness,lack of constellation effect as well as illegibility of the leading industry.The industrial structure can be optimized through reconstruction of the traditional industry with technological innovation,formation of leading industry and the exertion of the constellation effect.
