Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect and safety of combined treatment with repaglinide and acarbose in type 2 diabetic patients with postprandial blood glucose increase.Methods:65 cases of type 2 diabetic patients were randomly divided into experimental group(33 cases) and control group(32 cases). The control group accepted repaglinide only. The experimental group accepted repaglinide in combination with acarbose therapy. All patients were treated for 12 weeks.Fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h-postprandial blood glucose(2hPG) and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c) were observed.Adverse event occurred was recorded. Results:In the experimental group,FBG lowed from(7.88±0.65) mmol/L down to(6.19±0.61) mmol/L(t=10.90,P0.05),2hPG lowed from(14.52±1.96) mmol/L down to(7.97±0.83) mmol/L(t=17.73,P0.05),HbA1c lowed from(8.68±1.35)% down to(6.64±0.68)%(t=7.76,P0.05).In the experimental group,2hPG and HbA1c were lower than that in control group(t=-4.67,P0.05;t=-4.20,P0.05).The adverse reaction between the two groups had no difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Repaglinide combined with acarbose can significantly improve glucose control in type 2 diabetic patients with postprandial blood glucose increase and have no serious adverse reactions.
