Exploration on Enhancing the Fulfillment of Higher Vocational Teaching

Higher vocational education emphasizes comprehensive and functional practical abilities. Students of higher vocational schools should grasp the essential theories and professional knowledge, sharpen the basic skills and abilities related to their own profession. Developing the practical teaching is critical to cultivating students' basic professional skills. Based on the development of the practical teaching in Kunming Metallurgy College, this paper introduces the methods of improving the teaching conditions, reforming the contents of courses, methods of teaching and teaching patterns, and enhancing the management of practical teaching, etc.
