Abstract
Objective: To explore the method of surgical management of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis. Method: 42 case of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis were treated with endocopic surgery. Result: By the end of a following up period casted for 1~2 years, 37cases (88%) were significantly effective, 5 case (12%) improved and 0 case ineffective, with a total effective rate of 100%. Conclusion: The method of Submucosal partial resection of the inferior turbinate in treating chronic hypertrophic rhinitis is a good and shortcut way,and it could be a choice of clinic.
