Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcomes of endoscopic turbinoplasty and conventional turbinectomy, for the treatment of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis. Methods Retrospective analysis of hospital diagnosis of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis 160,52 underwent partial resection of inferior turbinate traditional, routine endoscopic turbinate 108 angioplasty, surgery and long-term effects from the nasal to the recent assessment of the efficacy. Results Short-term efficacy group was 92.6%,control group 90.3%,P 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant,long-term efficacy group was 91.7%,80.8% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Endoscopic turbinate angioplasty is superior to the traditional long-term efficacy part of the inferior turbinate resection, clinical effect, the physiological function to clinical surgery, worthy of promotion.
