Abstract
Surface cracking of cold heading products is the main problem,which causes cold heading defect and affects the product yield.For cold heading cracking,based on the cold upsetting test,the history deformation data were gotten by FEA,the critical damage value and material parameters of MFT10 were calculated,which was used to forecast the cracking tendency of Hexagon flange bolts.The results show the cracking tendency of Hexagon flange bolts manufactured with MFT10 is low,it is coincide with the actual situation.
