Abstract
Four species collected from China, are described as new in this paper. The types of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinca.1. Hyalurgus longihirtus Chao et Shi sp. nov.♂ Length 9 mm. Head black. Frons as broad as 1/5 of eye. Descending frontal setae exceeding apical level of second antennal segment and arranged in 2-3 irregular rows. Upper occiput with 3 rows of black setulae behind the postocular row. Parafacial as broad as third segment of antenna; antenna black, the second segment slightly longer than the third. Bend of m forming about right angle with appendage vein. Abdomen black, covered with greyish-white pruinosity. Body with longer hairs. The fifth sternite and the forceps as illustrated in figs. 2.3 and 4.Holotype ♂, Heilongjiang (Yichun, 390 M.) 1963, V. 28.2. Hyalurgus flavipes Chao et Shi sp. nov.♂ Length 7 mm. Frons as broad as 1/2 of eye. Descending frontal setae exceeding apical level of second antennal segment and arranged in a single row. Basal excavation of second abdominal tergite not reaching hind margin, with median marginals (fig. 6). Palpi and basicosta yellow. Abdomen yellow with black longitudinal stripe. Scutellum at basal 1/4 black, apical 3/4 yellow, Mid- and hind femora and all tibiae yellow. The fifth sternite and the forceps as illustrated in figs. 7 and 8. Holotype cf, Yunnan (Lijiang), 1962. Ⅷ. 29.3. Hyalurgus latifrons Chao et Shi sp. nov.cf Length 9 mm. Head black. Pollinosity greyish-white. Frons as broad as eye with one Oe. Basal dorsal excavation of second abdominal tergite fully reaching hind margin, without median marginals. Palpi and basicosta black or brown. Antennae black. Third antennal segment twice as long as second (fig. 9). The fifth sternite and the forceps as illustrated in figs. 11 and 12.Holotype cf, Xizang (Jilong 3300 M.) 1975. Ⅷ. 4.4. Hyalurgus curvicercus Chao et Shi Sp. nov.♂ Length 6mm. Frons as broad as 1/4-1/3 of eye. Descending frontal setae exceeding basal 1/3 level of second antennal segment; third hind frontal setae hairy, parafrontal narrower, as broad as 1/5-1/4 of interfrontal area. The third and fourth abdominal tergites with black bands at hind margin (fig. 14). The forceps as illustrated in fig. 16.Holotype ♂, Xizang (Yadong 2700 M.) 1975. Ⅵ. 3.
