The application of clinical nursing pathway in health education of patients with esophageal cancer

Abstract
Objective To explore the application of clinical nursing pathway in health education of patients with esophageal cancer.Methods 81 patients with esophageal cancer admitted to the hospital were randomly divided into treatment group(41 cases) and control group(40 cases).The treatment group was given clinical nursing education,and the control group was given health path by routine care of health education.The days in hospital,the degree of health knowledge and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results The days in hospital in the treatment group were significantly lower than that in the control group with statistically significant difference(P 0.01).The degree of health knowledge in the treatment group was obviously higher than that in the control group with statistically significant difference(P 0.01).The degree of nursing satisfaction in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group with statistically significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion The application of clinical nursing pathway for patients with esophageal cancer health education can shorten the days in hospital,and improve the degree of care satisfaction and the knowledge of health effectively.
