Curative effect analysis of amlodipine besylate combined with metoprolol in the treatment of resistant hypertension

Objective To discuss the curative effect of amlodipine besylate combined with metoprolol in the treatment of resistant hypertension. Methods The clinical treatment data of 100 cases with resistant hypertension in our hospital from 2010 to 2013 were analyzed. 100 cases with resistant hypertension were divided into 50 cases of control group treated by amlodipine besylate and 50 cases of observation group treated by amlodipine besylate combined with metoprolol. Results The total effective rate of patients with resistant hypertension in observation group after 4 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those in control group(P 0.05),and the difference in the curative effect was statistically significant. Conclusion The curative effect of amlodipine besylate combined with metoprolol in the treatment of resistant hypertension is significant, and which is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
