Abstract
Aim To provide a method of quality control for Xiongjushangqing Pills.Method TLC was employed in qualitative identification of the herbs of Fructus gardeniae and Radix scutellariae. And TLC fluorescence scanning was used for content determination of Berberine Hydrochloride in the preparation.Result The spots of TLC were clear and Berberine Hydrochloride had a good linear relationship between its content and area within the range of 0.06~0.30μg.The average recovery was 101.64%,and the RSD was 0.37%.Conclusion The method of qualitative identification for the herbs (Zhizi and huangqin) and quantitative determination for Berberine Hydrochloride can be used for qualify control, which are convenient accurate and good reproducibile.
