Prednisone Combined with Xuebijing Injection for the Treatment of 36 Cases of Nephrotic Syndrome

Objective: to study the clinical effect of prednisone combined with Xuebijing injection for the treatment of nephritic syndrome (NS). Methods: 61 cases of patients diagnosed with NS were divided into two groups:①Xuebijing group (n=36): prednisone combined with Xuebijing injection were used besides routine therapy. ② Control group (n =25): Only prednisone was recruited. Urine protein, blood fat analysis and renal function were examined during the treatment. Parameters of pre-treatment and post-treatment were compared. Results: Protocols of the treatment group was superior to the control group.Parameters of biochemistry were decreased. Blood nitrogen and serum creatinine markedly lowered. Conclusion: Prednisone plus Xuebijing injection can effectively relieve the NS, and have better protection for the kidney.
