Abstract
Objectives:To observe the value of 24h ambulatory electroencephalogram(AEEG) and video-EEG(VEEG) in diagnosis of epilepsy.Methods:Video-EEG were performed in 242 patients. Results were recorded by family. Two doctors analysed results respectively. One analysed data of video-EEG and the other one analysed data of ambulatory EEG.Results:Seizures with epileptiform discharges were observed in 63 of the 242 patients. There were 53 conformable cases in seizure types after VEEG and 39 conformable cases after AEEG.Them have obvious difference.Conclusions:Video-EEG is a reliable method in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of epilepsy.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
