Abstract
Objective To investigate clinical accuracy of Justy-Ⅱ Root apex locator in measuring root canal work length.Methods 174 root canals of 80 teeth need to be treated were collected by clinication,root canal work length was measured with Justy-Ⅱ root apex locator,root canal was prepared and filling routinely.Position of gutta pertscha filled into root canal was tested with X-ray,therapeutic effect was observed.Results 165 out of 174 root canals were suitable,account for 94.8%,9 out of 174 root canals were incorrect account for 5.2%.Conclusion Justy-Ⅱ root apex locator is objective and convenient,but will be effected by alive pulp and the diameter of root apex.
