Abstract
Objective To evaluate the accuracy of the fully automatic root apex locator(JustyⅡ)in measuring length of root canals.Methods One hundred and ten single root canal teeth to do root canal treatment were selected and randomly divided into two groups.The experimental group was measured with JustyⅡ.The control group was estimated manually.The accuracy was evaluated by radiography.Results The success rate of root canal therapy in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group.Conclusion The fully automatic root apex locator(JustyⅡ) is highly accurate in measuring length of root canals.
