Abstract

The processing properties of SSBR and ESBR from different factories were investigated,and vulcanization behavior,physical properties,wear resistance,wet skid resistance and rolling resistance of SSBR and ESBR compounds were compared.The results showed that,compared with ESBR,the processing properties of SSBR were similar,including the mix and raw rubber,but it was more difficult to process the SSBR compound. The processing properties and physical properties of SSBR compound could meet the requirements of the tire processing and end-use performance.The result of LAT100 test showed that,compared with ESBR,the wear resistance of SSBR vulcanizates decreased,the wet skid resistance and rolling resistance increased.
