"Harmony of Man and Nature": the Value Pursuit of Harmonious Society by the Confucians

Abstract

Confucians' thought on harmony of and nature embodies man's pursuit of the value of harmonious society from three dimensions including the harmony between and man,man and society,man and nature.The basic attitude of the Confucians is that that and nature are friends;the main line is that only by understanding the nature can we get insights into man and the final purpose is to help cultivate everything.To explore Confucians' thought can help us with the further development of the traditional Chinese philosophy and the construction of harmonious socialist society.
