Theoretical Features of Confucian Harmony Thought and Modern Reflections

The appearance of the concept of bore distinctive features of the farming economy;and it has gradually developed into a long-standing culture.As a main stream of traditional Chinese culture,Confucianism has rich resources of the harmonious thought.The construction of the Confucian ideal of harmony can be conducted on three levels;concrete methods have been designed around the harmony of order.Thus,it forms a whole system regulating the relationship between man and nature,between man and himself,between man and others,and between man and society.The Confucian idea of harmony has great reference significance for the construction of harmonious society,while the imperfections exposed in the process of practice are worth our reflections.
