Effects of Jiangu Granula Contained Serum on the Proliferation of Osteoblasts

Objective:To investigate the effects of Jiangu granula(JGG)contained serum on osteoblast(OB) proliferation of rat in vitro.Methods:Primary cells were isolated from calvaria of newborn SD rats by enzymatic digestion and serial subcultivated.The serum containing JGG or NS were respectively added and cultured the cells.Then Cell proliferation was measured by MTT Method,while the cell cycle were analyzed by flow cytometry(FCM).Results:Compared with the control group,medium with 20% serum containing JGG significantly stimulated OB proliferation(P0.05),and decreased the cell percentage of G0/G1 phase(P0.01 or P0.05),while raised that of S and G2/M phases and proliferation index(PI)(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion:Jiangu granula contained serum can accelerate the proceeding cell generation cycle,so that to stimulate cell proliferation of OB.
