Abstract

Objective To detect 9 antifungal drugs′ MICs against Candida albicans isolated from Candidal balanoposthitis, and provide reference to Candidal balanoposthitis treatment.Method The Candida were cultured and identified conventionally. The medical susceptibility test was performed by MIC methods.Result Among 12 strains of Candida, the most common organisms were Candida albicans(75.00 %),followed by biovar Candida albicans(16.67%) and Candida parapsilosis(8.33%).The sequence of drug resistance rates from high to low was Fluconazol,Itraconazole,Miconazole,Ketoconazole,Clotrimazole,Econazole,Flucytosine,Amphotericin and Mycostatin, respectively, with the resistance rates to 6 of them greater than fifty percent. Conclusion Candida albicans is the most common cause of Candidal balanoposthitis, and generally multi drug resistant. It is important to use the antifungal drugs according the result of drug sensitivity test.
