Abstract

Objective To compare the effects of tetrandrine and triamcinolone on fibroblasts derived from human scar in vitro so as to apply tetrandrine in clinic.Methods Using the cultured fibroblasts derived from human hypertrophic scars as model,the effect of tetrandrine on fibroblasts was compared with that of triamcinolone by MTT reduction assay,flow cytometry after propidium iodide staining and HE staining.Results The effect of tetrandrine on fibroblasts,growth curve descent,TD prolonging,cell of G_2-M period manifolding and G_2-M period prolonging,was similar to that of triamcinolone.Conclusion The inhibiting effect of tetrandrine on fibroblasts proliferation derived from human scar was similar to that of triamcinolone.
